7 Weeks Old
Our puppies make 7 weeks old this week. They are learning to crate train individually, which is sure hard after sleeping in a puppy pile your whole life! The puppies are mastering the technique of holding their potty all night, by themselves, again, while sleeping by themselves. They also have been spending short sessions outside running around with mama, Coco. The falling leaves and big spaces to run are a definite favorite. One of the biggest updates this past week is meeting new forever families! It has certainly been a busy and exciting week meeting new humans, but our puppies have had so much fun learning to be social. Puppy evaluations are currently in process and we are excited to report on any picked puppies that families want to know about! Today we got our very last litter shot, as most of our puppies will begin to go home this week!

5 Weeks Old - Explorers!
This week our puppies make 5 weeks old! That means lots more exposures to help puppies strengthen their confidence in new environments. A few new exposures they are starting are driving in the car while in their crates. Puppies already started crate training through the night, building tolerances to safe spaces within their crates. This helps establish for new families that are continuing this practice at home. The motion in the car helps them acclimate to motions that will be repeated for vets visits and their first long trips to their forever homes. We've noticed less motion sickness in previous litters after implementing this in our puppy curriculum. Pups will also have small sessions outside on our warmer, sunnier days. They will be introduced to many different surfaces, as well as, bugs, birds and plants. Lots of fun pictures to come! Keep watch on instagram for lots of fun updates!

4 Weeks Old
This week marks the first week of real play for the puppies. They are imitating and practicing behaviors that they will need as adult dogs, such as purring and light growling, surprising barks, nibbling on ears of siblings and snuggling with litter blankets. They are sniffing out new smells, especially non-familiar small humans. Our young kids are starting short visits with puppies in the whelping box. Puppies get to hear more small voices and earn giggles for nibbling on clothes and toes! Their curiosity is being rewarded with lots of snuggles and loves. Puppies are taking quickly to their mashed food. They have yet to grow their little teeth that will start their journey with dry kibble. Potty training is becoming more accurate and aim is getting better everyday! We will start to introduce puppy curriculum in new locations of the house, this week!

Three Weeks Old
This week has been a big deal for these big puppies! They have started walking on steadier legs, making getting around much easier. Their eye sight is clearer, which makes puppy play a lot more fun! Introducing food begins this week, which is a must for Momma, Coco, who has her paws full with ten growing puppies. The potty trays are also being introduced, which has already become a puppy favorite! At three weeks old, and just a couple days into learning to use their new potties, these puppies are proving to be VERY smart! Novelty items are being introduced, as well as, stimulating new everyday sounds! These puppies are transitioning into playful puppies very quickly!

to our Galactic Explorer Puppies!
Our puppies are finally here and we are so excited !! Coco did an amazing job, birthing all ten puppies within a 4 hour window! We were woken up to Disco barking at 4:35 AM, come to find that Coco had delivered two puppies all on her own !! We all jumped into action and by 8:38am Coco had quickly birthed 8 more puppies with a total of 10 puppies !! She is an amazing mama, and already completely obsessed with all of her puppies. They are gaining steadily, which speaks to all of Coco's hard work. She delivered;

The theme of Coco & Disco's litter will be Outer Space. Look out for their super galactic names coming next week !!
*Phantoms are black with specialized markings/mis-marks that differentiate from full solid black colors. Coco inherited the Phantom gene from her Daddy, a Red Phantom Merle.
